Tv won’t connect with air WiFi

I received a new appliance from AT&T for Internet in my house. I was able to connect my computers and my iPads. However, I cannot connect my TV. I enter the password that comes on your appliance in the same way that I entered it on my iPads and my computer.  However, it tells me that I have the wrong password.  On the old AT&T system, I had no problems.

We recommend that you contact our AT&T Internet Air customer service team at 800.288.2020. They are available from 10am to 7pm Central, 7 business days a week.

You still need the AT&T Gateway, as that connects your U-Verse TV equipment to AT&T equipment further upstream.
