Two TVs side by side, remote changes channel on both tvs.

I have a Vizio on the wall next to a Samsung. I have two wireless receivers for both tvs. When I go to change the channel on my Samsung, it changes the channel on the Vizio too. I have two seperate remotes but they dont seem to program to each seperate TV. S10-S4 and S30 S1A.  Any ideas how I can use remote and control the each TV separetly when I change the channel>

@troyturtle - @my thoughts solution of turning off the STB that you do not want to change is really creative, but would become tiresome quickly.

The use of the RF remote also works, but the remote can be inadequate. I had one for five years. You need only one STB so equipped, hidden from the other & the other TV can use standard remote.

The elegant solution is a Logitech Harmony Companion (previously smart control) hub based system where the hub can blast the TVs(thankfully, different IR) & one STB & a mini-blaster can control the other STB (hidden) uiquely.

I have three TVs set up this way. See my avatar.

Another option is the remote control feature of the U-verse Mobile App.  It can use IP networking to communicate with either receiver.  You must also have U-verse High Speed Internet service, and use your phone or tablet as a remote.
