Unable to pause and/or rewind live TV

Why can't we rewind/pause live TV any longer?  This just started late last week.  We get a message that states "Unable to rewind live TV at this time.  Please try again."  This has been going on for nearly a week now.  

 

Thoughts on how to fix this?  Thanks

Reboot your U-verse gateway and each of your receivers.

There is a very short period of time when starting a new channel that it will not work. But, you are talking later, after it is available.

 

If this is on other than the actual DVR - Try a whole house reboot to synch everything. Pull power on all boxes.

Restart RG - wait for all green

Restart DVR - wait for viewing.

Restart all others.

 

If it is happening on the DVR , do just the DVR.

 

After that you may need a new DVR.
