US Open??

Why is the US Open Golf Tournament not being shown on FoxS1 Thursday and Friday as advertised?  Instead, I see a dart tournament on the U-Verse guide.

don't expect an answer from AT&T or Fox on this one. If its so hard for AT&T to charge for, let's be honest, their crappy service at least make these events pay per view. to not get a chance to watch the US Open is absolutely ridiculous.

It is up to the customer to check to make sure everything is "a-ok" before signing up. If I moved to a new city, wouldn't I want to research the neighborhoods before I decided on a house? Maybe the most-expensive house wouldn't be the best one for my needs. If I was in the market for a new car, would I necessarily run out and spend $50,000 on a new car when maybe the $25,000 car would be a better fit for my daily life?

@PinkDiva did you look at your local FOX broadcast station listings Thursday and Friday, from 8P -11P ET?  US Open, on U-Verse!  Yes, FS1 is carrying the Open starting at Noon ET, which is 9 AM PT.  Do folks really want to see Sam Horsefield tee off at 9:01 AM PT?

My guess is that there might still be some good golf after 8 PM ET, with the Open being on the West Coast.

AT&T will be carrying the US Open on Fox Sports 1. Your guide should be updated this morning. Enjoy the Open!!

Thanks,

I'm sorry but my guide still indicated that the World Dart Championsihip will be broadcast.  I know that others have had their guide updated.  What gives?  Is it regional?

Set top boxes update between 5 am and 11 am locally. The manual way to update you box is to do a restart. Reguardless, you will be receiving the Open. It is national coverage and will be airing in EVERY MARKET.

Thanks Chad. Manual restart didn't change anything. I'd like to be able
to program to record it. If I just choose the FS1 and record, no matter
what the guide indicates is showing I should be okay, yes?

That is correct. Make sure you record 8 hours to get all the coverage.....I believe the Darts are in 1 hour increments. So, if you record only the first event....you will only get 1 hour. You can either record all separate events of darts or record the first event by clicking on the guide, selecting the event, then click info, record episode, then move the arrow to the right to stop recording. Press ok and you can then add time to the recording.

The live coverage is from 12:00 EST to 8:00 PM EST.
