UVerse and MLB channel.

We have Uverse tv and the channel guide  said the Giants game would be on at a specific time on MLB. I have this channel so I was excited to watch the game. Spring practice games.   Because I could not be home I recorded the time slot it showed in the guide.  This happened two different times.  The announcers said the Giants game is comng up after the commerial  and instead some talking heads were on in the time slot.  I seem to get every other spring training game but the one I would enjoy seeing.  Why does the guide show one thing and we get another. So irritating!  It also showed the game being on NBC Bay area and it was not there either.  Whats the problem?   A friend 30 minutes away watches these games and I cant get any of them. I am in the central valley but then so is he.
