Uverse DVR -- recorded shows cannot be played back via mobile or laptop?

Still very new to Uverse ... so far I want to like it, but there are some oddities (I'm coming from Dish Hopper).

 

So I've recorded some shows, but when I try to play back ...

a. on the mobile app or uverse.com website, it directs me to On Demand as opposed to the actual recorded episode.  Did I miss something?

b. I haven't tried it, but my wife tells me is this is the same behavior on the main receiver?  Also, you can't fast forward while watching On Demand?

2707nhermitage - The behavior on the remote device is "as designed". Perhaps more accurate - as contracted with providers. Hopefully, it will be brought up to current expectations.

The in-house behavior is intended to play recordings. If that cannot be done, there is something wrong. Check it out when you get home & post details.

There is nothing wrong with your devices or your services.  At this time AT&T has not rolled out the ability to watch recorded programs on mobile devices.  We are anxiously waiting on this feature, but in the back of my mind I suspect that we may not see it any time soon.  But I dare to dream.
