Have you rebooted the box in question?

I have the same issue today. "U-verse is not available".
I have rebooted my IPH8005 U-verse tv receiver by holding the power button down for 10 seconds and it did not fix the issue. I then unplugged the receiver from the power source to do a second reboot, and that did not work either. The receiver is less than 5 months old. I called tech support and was told I may need a new receiver, so I hung up and called back to try and get a different person to help. I am currently on hold with tech support by telephone. I have been on hold for a transfer for 55 minutes. I am about to hang up and start again. Absolutely horrible customer service.
I also rebooted my AT&T BGW210 modem to see if that would help with my tv issues and it did not fix it. The modem is also less that 5 months old.
I have had nothing but problems since moving my services to U-verse. I have an HP Pavilion laptop computer that will not connect to my wifi. I called tech support and they said I may need a new modem. The modem works fine for my desktop PC and my phone, so I have my doubts. HP support says "contact AT&T support", and then AT&T says "contact HP support". It is a vicious circle.
I have recently tried to record the Tour De France to watch later in the day and the recordings will just abruptly be cut off in the middle of the program. I will get random portions of the program and the rest is not recorded. One day it recorded 42 minutes and cut off. Another day it recorded 1 hour and 13 minutes and then cut off. My dvr has more than 80% of free space. Why are my scheduled recordings not completed?
I cannot access tv programs online with my account that should be available to me. If I go to ESPN.com to watch a show I enter my user/password and it loads the show for about 2 seconds and then says "User not authorized". This happens on almost every channel I have tried to access online. ESPN. Food Network, TNT, TBS, History Channel, Fox, etc. No one at tech support can tell me why this is happening. I have spent probably more than 20 hours on hold with tech support over the past 2 months. I have posted about this issue on this forum several times and no one can help.
Also, it would have been really nice to watch the British Open last weekend, but that was not possible because AT&T in it's brilliant wisdom has not provided me with my NBC affiliate for a long time now due to the Nextstar fiasco.
I am waiting for the next incomprehensible failure to come about. Come on AT&T please fix all these services that I pay you for every month. Sadly I have pretty much given up any hope of getting any real service from you people.
