Hello there! Thanks so much for your follow-up. What is the status of
resolution of this error code. It's been two months now! Many thanks! Terry

I'm getting this error constantly. I find it funny that after 2 months, no one cares to provide an update. Luckily my contract expires in a few weeks. My router constantly reboots, the app never works, and I'm paying way to much money!

I get QP1507 errors on the pay stations but the free network stations seem to work. This is true for my smart phone and my tablet. This feature obviously doesn't work and AT&T should delete it from their advertisements and can the app.

Sounds like this isn't going to get fixed in our lifetime, and people are getting ready to jump ship. Are folk headed to Comcast instead? Any suggestions most appreciated. Thanks!

It could be an account problem, the app does work, at least on my device.

You might want to try clicking this AT&T logoU-verse Customer Service link to send a Private Message (PM) to the AT&T customer service team to help you resolve your playback issue. You can expect a reply via return PM (the blue envelope envelope  in the upper right hand corner of this site, next to your name and avatar) in a business day or three.

This is a group of U-verse service specialists who are knowledgeable about U-verse and will stay with your problem until the end (instead of forgetting about it when the phone hits the cradle). Speed things up by including your Billing Account Number, and the best time and way to reach you.

What is this problem and how do I solve it!? How is it that I can view a channel on one device and then when I try to switch devices, all of a sudden the channel is unavailable??

It's pretty straightforward. Many U-verse channels are not viewable on rooted devices. The fix is not to root. I have no intention of removing root myself so for me the U-verse app is pretty much useless.

I do not know that this statement is true, though it would not surprise me.  There are other possible restrictions, such as screen size, whether you have the device connected to a TV via HDMI.

Believe me, the root restriction is true. I've tested this app on devices identical apart from the presence or absence of root, and that is the difference, the ONLY difference.

The only thing rooting does is unlock ur phone so you. An make changes to it and install custom roms. As lond as you have the stock rom and didnt delete any bloatware it should still work.....

You might be onto something with the rooted devices. I do notice a difference between my rooted Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) and my stock Samsung 10.1 2014 Edition Note Tablet. In summary the Note Tablet does not get the QP1507 errors. However, there are still some errors such as NL1007 (ch1004) and DI0005 (ch1007). I don't get these errors on Apple devices.

Also, I wonder why my rooted GS7 gets many QP1507 errors, but some channels work fine. For example, checking the 1200 channels the GS7 works on 1215 (msnbc), 1216 (cnbc), 1265 (NGC) and 1266 (NGW). It gets QP1507 errors on channels 1202, 1203, 1207, 1208, 1210, 1211, 1221, 1225 and 1255. If rooted device was the culprit for this error shouldn't it be expected to get errors on all channels??
