Uverse Online Error Code QP1507

Something changed about a week ago, and now my Android Uverse app won't streat live tv. It repeatedly gives me Error QP1507. What to do?

I think that whether or not a particular channel returns a QP1507 error when using a rooted device depends on content broadcast restrictions imposed on AT&T by the source provider. My tests involved identical devices apart from root, so I.m pretty sure the presence of root (and misperceptions of that by many content providers) is behind this particular error. But as you pointed out, the Uverse app on Android is generally error-prone anyway.

My tablet hasn't been rooted and I still get QP1507 on most channels I try to watch on my tablet.

reholli, have you tested if RootCloak or Hide my Root solves this problem

KSchalk, just as I did provide a list of 1200 channels with the QP1507 error. These channels did not generate this error on my stock Samnsung Note tablet.

That's surprising...l  obviously don't know what I'm talking about!

I did try a couple of root hiding apps which didn't help, but it's been posted that this error is rampant on non-rooted devices as well. So my take on the QP1507 issue is apparently bogus. I only tested with one pair of devices and that was quite a while ago now.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab isn't rooted either and I still get this error on most channels. Some I can watch... usually the free ones like ABC, CBS..NBC

I too am receiving the QP1507 error message. Per the error message, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application, but continue to receive the error message.  I specifically purchased an Android streaming box because you disabled the PC (Windows) version of the app.  I don't want to have to view TV on my phone.  If "ATT Cares", when will this be resolved?

I had to uninstall customizations to my NON ROOTED phone in order to watch my AT&T Uverse again. This is absurd, I can't remap my phone buttons without AT&T banning my device?! I didn't root ANYTHING, I downloaded BKactions from the the Official Google Play Store, and I bought the premium version. It requires ZERO ROOTING, yet AT&T Uverse thinks the phone is rooted because I actually like to customize my phone that cost me the better part of a $1000 new? After uninstalling Bkactions, and rebooting, I was able to watch my Uverse again. ABSURD!

I understand your frustration. It's unfortunate. Some kind of paranoia on AT&T's part. I gave up along time ago trying to run the Uverse app. I'm still rooted along with running a custom ROM. I still get angry when I think about it.

My Galaxy S7 (G930F) is also rooted using Tkkg1994 Batman 1.5.0 Nougat S8 port ROM. I am able to pass SafetyNet on Magisk. Then I used the Magisk Hide feature to hide root from the Uverse app. Uverse app now works on all channels without any of the error codes.
