U-verse:Amazon.com:Appstore for Android
It is there... link above should take you right to it. Team working to check the tags and categories so it shows properly in search.

@UVTVguru ,
Could you give any guidance about any Fire TV platforms on which it should or shouldn't work? I've got all sorts of different Fire TV devices (Gen1 Cube, Gen 2 & 3 Sticks, 4K stick) and the UI is showing it's only compatible with one device (I'm thinking that's the 4K stick). Fire Tablets would also be lovely.

Okay, that might fit what I'm seeing. I replaced my first gen FireTV sticks when they got horribly slow and unstable and the 2nd gen stick was fine. But the replacements are mostly 2nd gen it appears. Time to do some trade ins. :)

UVTVGuru- I did not say the app was not in the amazon appstore., It is, but all eight of my firetv devices are marked as unavailable (not compatible) to update or uninstall/reinstall thru the amazon appstore. Most of the devices are FireTV stick 4k with Alexa voice control gen 2. Seven of those devices already had the Uverse tv app install, but now they are marked as unavailable (not compatible). Also, one of the eight was a brand new firetv stick 4k which I setup this weekend but again it too was marked as unavailable (not compatible) on the amazon appstore. I was told from AT&T phone support that about a week ago a new update to the Uverse Tv app was pushed to the amazon appstore which has caused all my family's devices to be marked as unavailable (not compatible) on the amazon appstore. So far this week this has still not been corrected. Please give me some hope that this problem will be resolved.
To compound the problem I agree with DEE501's comment about the seven previously installed Firetv devices also now crashing without any error code when attempting to run on demand shows/movie or any content on my u450 premimum channels. That is why I was trying to install the new update in hopes to resolve this issue. However, there appears to be a problem now even with the older version of the app when trying to authenticate a show before streaming. It immediately crashes and returns to the amazon firetv home screen without any error messages (and yes notication is turned on).
Please escalate this support issue with the U-verse for firetv app and platform.

If you can't install the new one, then you're still running the old one, and it's probably not going to work anymore.
Take the link on a machine without the Amazon App Store and make a screenshot of what you get when you click on the words "compatible devices" just above the Deliver button. I get a popup listing all my Amazon devices, with an X beside all but the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. I'd like to know what you get there?

I followed your link above on my windows workstation and it took me to the amazon appstore screen I have been talking about for the uverse tv app which shows the newly installed firetv stick 4k with a red X. This is exactly what I see also for all seven older firetv devices that are registered on another household member's amazon account. The app is not available (not compatible) with firetv devices that it should be (see the list provided by UVTVGuru in an earlier post). It was previously available but I am being told by AT&T phone support staff after a recent U-verse TV app update was posted to the amazon appstore, it is not allowing app updates/installs to firetv devices that should be and were previously available (compatible). Do you now understand the issue better?

Are the devices updated to OS 7.0? If so, please provide a list of the devices that are not working so we can troublshoot.

On my new FireTV Stick 4k that I had just installed/updated this weekend (and just checked again a few minutes ago) the version is Fire OS 6.7.0.2 which states that "Your Fire TV is up to date". Do not know about OS 7.0? Is that for a different device?

You apparently have a new First Generation, FireTV Stick 4k, as the Second Generation (which came out September 2023) shipped with version 8.1.0.3. Which means although it's new to you, it's actually a 5 year old hardware release.
This chart on Wikipedia has been extremely helpful to me.

That device would need to be updated to 7.0 at minimum. My Fire Stick 4K (Gen2) is currently on 8.1
The software supported on each Fire TV device is determined by Amazon. Based on the capabilities and features in the U-verse App we had to limit support to 7.0 or higher to ensure performance.

As you have suggested it is new to me since it was gifted to me last year. The model number is E9L29V and the packaging states Fire TV Stick 4K with Alexa Voice Remote (2nd Generation). That not withstanding the U-verse TV app should be showing as compatible in the Amazon Appstore even for that model (and other previously compatible Fire TV devices) which they are now not compatible. That is the heart of the problem. Any other ideas?

Why?

Why? All other major apps work just fine on that device except this latest update of the U-verse TV app. If this is true than AT&T knowingly released a new update that obsoleted a significant number of Fire TV devices worldwide that might want to continue running their app. What about the list that UVTVGuru posted earlier? Do we need a new updated list of supported devices? Will MAX be obsoleted next year? Can we get official confirmation or does someone have additional thought on how to remedy this problem?
