It WAS called Uverse Easy Remote app available on iTunes for iPhones and iPads but apparently it is no longer available.

The current app does offer a remote control but it is not a voice activated remote.

I think it’s wonderful that you’re trying to help your father.  I was in a similar situation with my grandma, that’s why we stayed with Comcast longer than we should have.

The only U-Verse remote that is voice activated is the app, but you need wi-if.  I ended up finding a universal voice activated remote. It was through a lot of trial and error, everyone is different, but eventually we found one.  Depending on degree of visual impairment, maybe a universal big button remote would work.

Yes. I am aware of this. The issue is twofold 1) vision impaired and 2) Does not have WIFI either. Comcast has a voice controlled remote. The ATT app is been removed. ATT can discuss reasons why.
