Access to streaming was moved to the app.  You'll have access individual networks from their websites.

From the link provided:

Get the free U-verse app from the App Store®, Google PlayTM, or the Amazon® app store. The app is compatible with:
  • iPhone®, iPad®, or iPod touch® (iOS 9.3 and above)
  • AndroidTM® smartphones and tablets (OS 4.1 and above)
  • Android wearables (Android WearTM OS) Amazon Fire TV devices

I found and installed uverse app on my Amazon fire and it works no problem.  Other than the uverse app that says it no longer works on microsoft i can't find another AT&T mobile app for my laptop.

Thanks for the info.  The Uverse App is not available at the Microsoft store on my Dell laptop.  It says it has been retired.  None of those sites will install the uverse app on my laptop.

There is NO desktop version of the AT&T app any longer, only on mobile iOS and Android devices.

I believe you can still do it on Comcast's Xfinity. It's easy to switch (back) to their service.

Not solved - how do you get the app on the laptop to begin with? This answer is vague and does not address the issue.

I think we are better off switching the entire service to Xfinity and leaving ATT entirely!

Want to stream live and on-demand content or manage your DVR almost anywhere? Get the U-verse app.

Get the free U-verse app from the App Store®, Google PlayTM, or the Amazon® app store. The app is compatible with:

  • iPhone®, iPad®, or iPod touch® (iOS 9.3 and above)
  • Android® smartphones and tablets (OS 4.4 and above)
  • Android wearables (Android WearTM OS) Amazon Fire TV devices
  •

BOTTOM LINE:  You can only stream Uverse content using the App and the App is only available on the platforms listed above.  If your laptop does not run those platforms (and most likely, it does not) then you CANNOT stream Uverse content on your laptop.

If you need anymore clarity, just ask.

For those who can't cut through the double talk, ATT Uverse has stopped all support of streaming to laptop or desktop systems.  They offer no way to get there through their own systems.

What you can (sometimes) do is this:  If you have a channel on your regular UVerse service package, you can sometimes go online to that channel (say FoxSports, ESPN, etc.).  IF that network offers streaming, and IF everything is working well, then you can try to stream from that network.

You'll usually be provided a screen wherein you're supposed to pick your carrier.  In this case, use your UVERSE login and password, and if all is working, you will likely the allowed to stream.  Of course, there are a lot of "ifs" there.

Right now for example, I have a Uverse package that lets me watch CBS Sports network from home, and I'm actually recording a game on my Uverse DVR at home.  Alas, I'm on the road this weekend, and would LIKE to watch the game live.   But when I try to stream it from CBS Sports, the only option they'll give me is ATT TV, or DirectTV, but not Uverse.  So while on the road, I'm high and dry.  Last weekend, we WERE able to stream a game from ABC/ESPN from this same location.  So it's less a geographical limitation, as some kind of contractual or technical glitch.   Sadly, as you've already seen here, ATT usually tries to talk around their business decision to stream only to phones and pads, but not desktops and laptops.  I miss that ability greatly.  But ATT chose to abandon this service (and it's customers of that service) several years ago.  no idea why, but they did...

This worked for me on FoxBusiness.com & FoxNews.com.
