Currently there is no way to watch uverse through an Apple TV. Closest option is to watch on your iPad or iPhone and then screen mirror to the Apple TV.

We tried screen mirroring and the U-verse app stops after a minute and displays this error message:
AirPort video receiver is not supported (QP 1553)
talked Ed to Apple support, they said it was a U-verse problem. Talked extensively to U-verse, did not recognize the error message and sent us back to Apple support.
