WatchTV app — iPhone 8 - to TV via hdmi. It doesn’t work. Help.
We have WatchTV app now. Want to watch on tv via my iPhone. Using an hdmi cable. It doesn’t work. Help. FYI — works fine with husbands galaxy9 and his hdmi cable.

We're more than glad to look into this for you!
From the iPhone 8, are you able to connect and use other apps while connected to the TV via HDMI? If not, then it is possible the HDMI cable or the Lightning-to-HDMI adapter is damaged and will need to be replaced.
In addition, is the WatchTV app fully up to date along with the OS on your iPhone? These are also possibilities that could prohibit the connection from working.
