If it's a receiver (non-DVR), you can call 800-288-2020 for a replacement. As soon as you get the replacement, take the old one to any UPS or FedEx store with your account number and the return label. They'll do the rest.
If it's a DVR, you'll lose your saved recordings, but not custom settings.
