We have uverse TV. How do I connect so that I can watch it on my computer?

We have Uverse TV not direct TV.  How do I connect so that I'm able to watch TV programs on my computer?

Watching live TV is only available from the app and the app is available on the following devices:

  • iPhone®, iPad®, or iTouch® (iOS 9.3 and above)
  • Apple Watch®
  • Android® smartphones and tablets (OS 4.1 and above)
  • Android wearables (Android Wear OS)
  • Amazon Fire TV devices

This isn't comcrap.  You want to watch tv networks on your computer then the tv networks may or may not provide their programming on their own websites or the stuff may or may not be included on att's On Demand.

"How can we improve?"  Make it work.  Have spent almost an hour trying to get an app to work on either phone or computer.  It keeps telling me my login credentials are different -- which work when I log in to AT&T but not to app.  But worked when I installed the app.  Can't spend any more time on this today.  Frustrating, discouraging, ineffective.

We're here to help get you logged in, Karen_Unger!

We suggest clearing the cache and cookies on your browser, so that if there is any conflicting data it won't affect your ability to login.

You may also want to try redownloading the application as well. This can help make sure it is completely up to date.

Can you also let us know what app you are trying to log into? This will help us narrow down what we can do to troubleshoot with you.

In the meantime, we suggest creating a new forum thread for your concern, as this one is three years old and subject to being closed at any time.

We hope to hear back from you!

@Karen_Unger

Hello, yes I’m going to go and close this thread, please open a new one.  Before doing so, there are already many that have come before you and suggestions on how to resolve.  The key is to locate and use the right key to unlock access.  It’s your U-verse member ID and it is listed in your profile on att.com.
