Whose Job is it to Type in the TV/Cable show listings for U-Verse's Cable Menu?

Who is at fault when cable or broadcast shows are listed erroneously? Who's ultimately responsible for feeding a channel's line-up into U-Verse's channel menu listing - the cable service or the channel itself? It just seems U-Verse does a lousy job @ keeping track of what is running on several channels on a given week, & I'm talking about the CURRENT week, not just a few understandable flubs planning programming a few weeks ahead. ATT U-Verse consistently muffs up when a certain show is supposed to play at a certain time on PBS channels, main cable channels & even children's programming. Often the description of shows that are already re-runs are wrong or even just flat-out made up - like whoever job it is to fill in the episode description just doesn't give a crap. I'd love to know who that person is & where they actually work - @ U-Verse or the particular cable channels in question.  I bet stations like SF's Channel 22, BBC, VICE, Icons & Heros, Cartoon Network & Disney would love to know who's messing up their programming, and they aren't the only stations, not by a long shot.

If it's anybody's fault, it's the station's.  If I remember correctly, the station gives the information to some third-party company that compiles TV listings, and they are the ones that send them to U-Verse.

AT&T does a reasonably good job of making last-minute changes when necessary; for example, when the Chicago Cubs announced when their victory parade would take place with only two days' warning and WGN America had to update its schedule to air it, it got into the U-Verse schedule the next day.

The name Titan TV has been mentioned as the third party that provides program descriptions.

Thanks, Skeeter.  Would TitanTV be also in charge of feeding the TV/Cable programming line-up for U-Verse as well as providing show/movie descriptions?  I most appreciate the info.

Actually, I believe that FYI Entertainment is the guide information provider for U-verse.  It serves as the clearing house for all program information between the channels and U-verse for the Electronic Program Guide features, channels, times, program names, air date, ratings, descriptions, etc.

Thank you, JefferMc.  When I fire my vitriol I want to make sure it's aimed at the right people.  Someone or some people between FYI & the individual stations don't seem to be taking their jobs very seriously.  Perhaps the cable channels don't care much themselves - one cable CEO summed up programming as "the crap we put between commercials." In the end, it's all about advertising money.
