When you see that error on your TV Screen, it means that the U-verse signal is not reaching the Set Top Box. Check the connection that brings in your TV signal. It will be either a coax or Ethernet cable going to the wall or straight to the residential gateway. Make sure it is connected tightly and nothing is wrong with the cable, such as cuts, tears, or unusual bends. Sometimes, unplugging the connection and plugging it back in will fix the issue.

If this does not fix it, rebooting the set top box will be the next step. To do this, simply remove the power from the back of the set top box and plug it back in, or hold down the power button on the set top box for 10 seconds.

If you are still having problems after this, it may require special attention, and a technician may be needed for this issue.
