Why is the power button on my remote control keeps flashing red?

Almost sounds like a button got stuck in the down position - maybe that pause or power button.  Look at the buttons on the remote (particularly the pause and power buttons) and see if any of them look like they are lower than any of the surrounding buttons and if so try to free them.   You might also want to take out and then reinsert the batteries.

If the remote is suspect or you confirm a stuck button you can always call tech support (800-288-2020) for a replacement.

today is 3-2-24, I called att repair and explained I just received the replacement remote in the mail 2 days ago and it quit working this morning. She told me the earliest they can send another one is 3-9-24, that's 1 week from today, then it will be 6-7 days before I receive it. That means no remote for 2 weeks.
