Why some HD and not others?
For some suppliers, selected channels are available in HD, but not others. STARZ Cinem, for example, is missing from the HD list, but is available on satellite services.
When wew scan though the listings, we need to compare SD with HD to avoid missing interesting programming. This is also true of such channels as CNNInternational.
Why so selective? The channel number would OBVIOUSLY be available.

It's known that Uverse has the most HD channels of most providers.

The channel number being available doesnt mater much at all, it comes down to contracts and negotiating for more channels. I'm sure when its time for AT&T and Starz to go back to the table to renew a deal the missing HD channels will be added. Like previously stated though U-Verse does offer more HD channels than any other provider.
