Windows 10 UWP app for U-verse

Is there a Windows 10 UWP app in the works for u-verse? And specifically the u-verse DVR? I am a long time u-verse (and AT&T mobile) subscriber, and it is very frustrating that there is no universal windows 10 app for the TV service. Programming the DVR from the web browser is an awful experience on the phone (W10 Mobile), and not the best either on the desktop browser. With the high (and increasing) usage rates of Windows 10, it would seem like the development of an app for the Windows 10 ecosystem would make great sense, especially if it was truly universal and worked on PC/tablets, phone, and Xbox.
