Is it possible to install a wire less tv transmitter to my standard Uverse receiver.
I want to get wireless TV to my new Smart TV which will under my covered gazebo.

Hi @rmturner54,
It is possible, but we have not had the best luck with it. Due to the nature of the TV service where it requires a stable and strong connection, most wireless transmitters are not able to provide that. You can try using a U-verse wireless receiver, and when you don't want to use it wireless, you can hardwire it with Ethernet cable.

@rmturner54 - Your smart TV has the following functions/inputs -
HDMI for HDTV
Antenna for over the air TV
Rj-45 network jack for internet access
wi-fi connection for internet access
For internet access follow the connection wizard on the TV to connect to the u-verse wi-fi. If the wi-fi signal is not strong enpough at the TV location you can use an extender such as this - https://www.att.com/equipment/accessory-details/index.jsp?q_categoryid=cat2020046&q_sku=sku7330424&q_manufacturer=&q_model=
For HDTV you can get a wirelesss STB & connect it the TV via HDMI
If you want to extend the existing STB get an HDMI splitter & amazon/google shop for "wireless HDMI - https://sewelldirect.com/sewell-hdmi-1x2-splitter-v13b?ad_source=googleadwords&ad_medium=ppc&ad_term=hdmi%20%2bsplitter&ad_campaign=53983803&ad_group=2074889043&ad_network=search&ad_creative=7153161963&gclid=cke_ir2ii6gcfuik4aoduebycq

@rmturner54 - RE: Yes..2 tvs to one box. I am trying to get tv out at my pool the easiest way
The easiest ay would be a long HDMI cable from Sewell & connect the close by TV component.
Since HDMI feeds back control you may get strange results. You can pull the HDMI cable from the STB or get the splitter.
