WSB tv (ABC)

What is going on with the renewal of WSB channel 2 in Atlanta, also ABC. I understand we may lose this channel in a day or so, I sincerly hope this is resolved. I want to keep this channel as a part of my programming package. This is my primary local and World news channel. I hope this is resolved.

So this is happening across the US. AT&T is making it sound like the problem is with our local station. Cox broadcasting must be the one that AT&T is dropping not just WSB TV in Atlanta. What good would it do if we call our local station.

I would guess that any Cox Media TV station will eventually not be carried by AT&T, until negotiations are agreed upon.  Cox Communications has its own cable service, so they know what the going rates are for network programs provided by cable companies.

Based on what I have seen in multiple posts, Cox Media and ATT are at war. WHIO in Dayton, along with 12 other stations in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Memphis, Orlando, Pittsburgh, and Seattle are being held hostage.

I am wondering when WHIOTV will be back on tv. I watch it alot. If you all are not going to have it I will be changing cable companies.

I want our CBS & FOX channels back IMMEDIATELY!! It is currently 11:01 EST in NE Florida and when I say I wasn't it back IMMEDIATELY, I mean by with the next half hour TODAY!! These are MAJOR networks that you've eliminated from my package!! Give them back immediately, issue me a credit and stop screwing with my service!! If these channels are not back immediately, I WILL CANCEL ALL OF MY SERVICES WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Channel 2 is a regular channel for georgia user, so why would you all remove it. I have package 200 that I am paying for now you all have taken some of channel off it, witth no warning channel is just rerun old televion program I was told I need go to packages 300 If wanted channel. what I don't understand why do you all wanted merge with CNN  so you can really jack up price.

I world hope that merge don't go through. Some you want to be the only carrier for cable tv. I guess you all forgot we still have comcast until you all decide to buy comcast. I think that buying Direct TV was big errand.

Cox Communications owns Cox Cable, so they know the going rates for cable.  I think that Cox does not want to pay higher rates which AT&T wants, so they're not going to give in.  Meanwhile, it seemed confusing why different network station in different cities were affected, just like WSBTV in Atlanta.  Reason?  Cox Media owns a number of TV stations across the nation.  Here's a list that are or will be affected by AT&T negotiations with Cox Media, according to Wikipedia.

AT&T, cheap (bad word denied). Typical of them to hurt their customers while fighting for more money from ABC.

I've been a customer for 60 years and have seen all the changes. This is not a war between the local channel and AT&T. It's a war between AT&T and Cox Media Group, Inc. If AT&T doesn't accept the deal, then AT&T will lose long time customers like us.

It is shameful that ATT cannot come to an agreement in Atlanta with WSB, the standard bearer for radio and TV in Atlanta for more than 75 years.  This customer will take all of his business--TV, cell phone, land lines, and internet elsewhere if a solution is not reached.
