Double Play

I cannot get the Double Play to work!  I hit the down arrow, it says "select another channel", and then when I hit it again, it selects its own channel--I can't get it to let me pick what the 2nd channel will be.  I tried doing it from the guide, and that doesn't work either.  Anyone have any sugges

tivo - You're a genius.  Your solution works perfectly.  Thanks much.  Now, if the Directv 'former of messages' would just read and copy your instructions in their next message on the use of this feature, it might save much angst  🙂 Ken

I am currently having the exact same problem as izzy.  My remote=RC64R, my receiver=HR22/100, TV=Philips, duration of problem=since I learned of 'double play' several months ago, ZIP=18657.  Does anyone out there have any solutions to this, or is the
