I have U-verse in the Detroit area. Being close to Canada, we get CBC on Channel 9 (1009). For the last 2 days it has a screen that says something like "down due to technical difficulties". I checked with my antenna and the station is up and running. Did U-Verse drop CBC or are they really having pr

I just got a notice that a new Pace IPH8110 DVR receiver was shipped to me. I did not request this. Is this some new upgrade that AT&T is doing? I did get AT&T Fiber a while back (almost a year) but my current DVR (VIP2250) works fine with it. Thanks...Randy
OK, so I got this Pace IPH8110 today. Before I decide if I am going to keep it - is there any advantage (besides the larger hard drive) to having this as opposed to the VIP2250. Does it give me any added functionality? I read somewhere that you can r

Are the cat5 cables going from the gateway to the devices wired the same at both ends, i.e. "straight" cables, as a patch cable would be?

We had a network outage for a few hours a couple of nights ago. Since then, on some but not all stations, when I change channels, the picture is frozen for a couple of seconds before it starts playing. I re-booted the gateway and STB's, still no joy. Any ideas? Thanks...
