I had a reputable electrician wire a new system, installing 50-foot long connections through the wall, under the floor and up to the inside of a closet -- from my Vizio TV to an H24-100 box and Blu Ray player. He used Cat5 cable for the line with HDMI ends and beginnings. The lines have worked well
