RF remote control

I have a R22 dvr reciever. The reciever is on onen room and the tv is an adjacent room.  How can I set up the remote to control the reciever from the adjacent room?  I have a RC23 remote I have been using.  I got a RC65RB remote but can find no place to plug the rf antenna into the R22 reciever.  I

it is an HR24 - 200  My age 80 maybe not to swift. I also lost the manual for the hr 24 any chance of getting a copy.Also do the local channel's record etc.  thank you larry ward
