does Uverse offer an app or method on the iPad to download movies/shows while connected tothe internet so that you can play them back later when you are NOT connected?  Comcast / Xfinity offered the Xfinity Player that allowed you to do this and watch them later without being connected.

Amazon video allows you to download some movies and shows to your Kindle but not everything. The call it on-tap video. The whole business of downloading is very iffy. I assume that is the case with other cable providers.

Why Can I not watch Uverse on my Smart TV, Like I do on my Phone?  There should be an App for Uverse just like my phone app.

Yes there is a Uverse app for the Fire TV. It seems to share the same functions of the Android Uverse app except for schedule and home DVR functions.

I noticed that the HBO on demand movie Kiss the Girls (HD) has an expirationdate of 12/31/2099. Upon checking HBO's schedule website the movie is no longerplaying on HBO at all. The SD version of the movie is gone as it should be. Checked and you can still play the movie. Thought it was an amusing m

So you can see it listed too. So it is not just in my area but everywhere.

Why when I have the U450 package, highest price as far as I know, does it not include Epix? Uverse is adding the Epix channels and, from what I'm told by a Uverse CSR, to get it I will have to pay $8 on top of the high priced U-450 package. Time for me to start looking elsewhere.

Yes I just saw the new post on that blog. This is very interesting since the last EPIX free preview on October 12, 2017 was for multiple providers.

I didn't see EPIX offered on DirecTV so it is nice that it is available on Uverse. It goes to show you that there are more channels on Uverse because it is IPTV so there is no hardware limits on channels like DirecTV or regular cable IMHO.  You said

Hi. I recently had my land line phone moved to Uverse voice and in the process also had moved from U-family to U200 while speaking with the AT&T representative who handled the transfer. I must admit that misunderstood the offer of the U200 upgrade and I now wish I was back with U-Family which I was

Yes, a few channels are dropped going from U Family to U200.

In past homes, we have had both XFinity and Charter. AT&T is by FAR the WORST cable provider we have ever had. Your OnDemand service is beyond terrible. Not only are recently aired episodes not available, but some episodes are only available in SD. Who in 2018 wants to watch as show in SD???  Good g

I actually don't mind if the on demand program is in SD. What I wish is that if a program is in a 16 by 9 format, that the setting is made so that you get the full picture instead of letter boxed in the 4 by 3 format. An example of this is on the MTV

If I am on a non hd channel is there an easy way to see if there is an hd channel available. Ie  channel 10 is what hd channel  when I was with competor you just hit the enter key twice and if hd was available it would switch to hd channel

I usually use the info button on the remote for the program. Then I select "other showtimes" for the live program playing and then select the HD entry if it is available. Easier than entering the channel number starting with a "1" which I sometimes g

When will At&t FINALLY get Bounce tv and Antenna tv

Uverse does have 2 subchannels in my area (32405). The CW network and My TV. Bounce is actually available here as a sub channel but not carried by Uverse.
