Being charged for shows we have on our dvr

I would check to see where it was recorded from. Some channels have PPV episodes through their On Demand, which is not covered by the included live satellite channel. A way for the channel/content owners to make money off binge watches, such as having one season available on the channel and having other seasons On Demand for those to catch up.

Also if someone recorded from a PPV channel, then of course if you go to watch it than it will prompt you to pay. That allows someone to record ahead of time and then pay and watch on their own schedule, as many PPVs are up to 72 hour rental from time of purchase.

If any of those kind of situations, just delete from the DVR and just watch out where you are recording from in the future.
