More Consistent Audio Level Lately

The average audio level seems to have become much more consistent in the past few weeks. We're no longer subjected to those loud obnoxious advertisements. If something was done thank you DTV! I read that Dish is incorporating SRS Volume Leveling in it's receivers.

Sound level from the ATT Box is very low.

I set up a new remote control that was sent to me from ATT. Prior to seting up and using the new remote control the sound level from the TV would make the walls shake. Now when I use the new remote control I use the VOL control button to raise the volume to the max and the sound is almost silent.

Optical digital output level difference SD and HD channels

Just got a Zvox sound bar and hooked the Uverse box to it using the optical digital output.  It works great except for a marked difference in sound levels between SD channels and HD channels.  At least 6db's.  Tried customer support chat but I swear the guy never really understood what I was trying
