Oh, no, what are the one post one and done wonders going to do now? Even though he has been dead for years, former Presdient Gerald Ford, had this to say about the return of the Hallmark Channel and the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel.

No more repeating the date of September 1, 2010 to disgruntled subscribers. Our entire universe has been turned over.

Cue the "Why isn't Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on U-200?" threads in three, two, one,...

However, it says that HM&M will be on U-Family as well as U-300 and above.  Are there any (other) channels currently available on U-Family but not U-200?

Even the Ghostbusters had something to say about the possible horrific changes in the world due to the fact that AT&T and Crown Media finally came to an agreement.

Don - None that I can recall. However, one of the baby type channels is only on U-Family and U-450, about as far apart as you can get.

I found the side-by-side package list, and noticed four:

BabyTV

Sprout

qubo (which is available for an additional fee on U-200)

CMT Pure Country

I'm sure you already know this, but for others:

U-Family (and other similar tiers on other providers) were created solely to appease a requirement by the FCC. If it were up to the providers, they wouldn't even talk about these tiers...but they do.

The channels on these tiers are a hodgepodge of channels from across different tiers on those providers that are guaranteed to be "kid-friendly." And yes, it would be entirely possible to lose certain channels when going from a family tier to a basic or extended tier.

Under 15 minutes until midnight ET.

Anyone else want to reset their box right then? Usually the HBO-style free previews are activated right around midnight ET of the day they start.

11:05 PM Central Time. No Hallmark, yet. Will this be a rolling launch according to time zones since it is past midnight Eastern Time?

I saw them after resetting my box via the remote. Guide info hasn't yet loaded. Channels are LIVE (no "coming soon" screen.)

Yeah, I just totally saw two old ladies in bed. Another old lady came into the room and one of the old ladies got out of bed and was replaced with the old lady that entered the room.

And the old lady that came into the room to get into bed with the other old lady is married!

I also heard the world "fudgesickles" and "bum."

Yeah...this is TOTALLY family-friendly.

I just reset one of my boxes, and I am receiving both channels now. The shows on both channels aren't even HD. Both are in square format. Ironically, the program on the Hallmark Channel is "The Golden Girls", the program that was always used as an example of how unvaluable the Hallmark Channel can be.
