Attention! - U-verse Programmers

I'm getting tired of looking at the black rectangular box at the bottom of the TV for about 7 seconds every time I change channels.

Preferable time would be about 2 seconds.  It seems like it would be a simple program entry to reduce the time it is shown.

Git-R-Done!

Thank You 🙂

FWIW, you can force it off before the normal time by pushing the exit button.  Have to do it every time of course.

And if it was set to automatically disappear after two seconds, someone else would complain.

In such cases, it's best to hit the exit button.

I knew someone would bring up the obvious "exit button".  There's very little info in the box anyway.  It's probably simple to adjust the time it shows.  I suppose you think that hitting the pause button continually is a great way to view slow-motion!. lol

Has this forum actually reached the developers to successfully make changes to the service?

Of course not! Man Frustrated The so called "UI experts" for this stuff "know it all".  They never actually ask users for opinions and I think don't even try it themselves other than to make sure it doesn't crash.

My pet peeve, the stupid loss of position when you get Info on a program in Favorites.  I and others complained here.  In addition I PM'ed  @ATTU-verseCare around this time last year.  Here's an example post including my reply to that thread about what @ATTU-verseCare said to me about this.

So now it's December again.  If UI releases remain more or less consistent we may be due for another UI update any time now.  Let's see how may users get pi$$ed off with their latest batch of changes...again...change fore change sake only.  And I don't expect them to fix the Favorites problem since they probably forgot about it by now and heaven forbid they admit they made a mistake.

@ATTU-verseCare - are you reading this?????

I'm losing my temper - I'll stop now.

Do any of the major VSP/ISPs  provide a problem reporting mechanism?

Hint: I'm not talking about an issue that results in a technician dispatch.

Have you considered a career in stand-up?
