Build your own tv plan
When will you come up with a build your own tv channel plan? Financially I'm struggling to pay $180 a month for the Uverse 200 plans but to downgrade, I lose just about all the channels I watch. I work alot and do outdoor activities, so feel it is a waste to have and pay for so many channels that never get watched. Why not make a plan where for $40 or $50 a month (or have several tiered plans) where we can pick any 15, 20 or 30 channels. We can get a decent affordable price and not feel like we are wasting money on channels that we don't want. I always wonder who really has time in life to watch 30 different movie channels? I switched from cable to AT&T but the price has gotten so I can't afford it any more, and the company I left has been making me offers to come back. I have called to see what kind of deal I can get with my current AT&T plan but am told there isn't anything they can do. So do I have to leave for 2 years and come back to get a better deal (new customers seem to get way better deals than those who have been customers for a long time)? I just want an affordable plan that has all the channels I watch and that doesn't have 600+ channels that I never watch. I don't think I would be alone in this thinking, so if something is in the works for a Build Your Own Plan, I would love to know about it.
Thanks.

I would like to be able to select a TV package plan and strike out the channels I never watch and don't want to pay for. This would include all the Spanish channels that I am subsidizing, CNN, CNBC, PBS, and a few dozen other stations that I don't want to pay for. There is roughly 35-45% of the channels offered in any plan that I just don't want to pay for. Under my plan, a 200 channel package, I would net roughly 125 channels that I do watch at a savings of $75-$125 per month. It should be criminal to force customers to subsidize unwanted products.

@smyte55 Sorry, but that's NOT how it works. There are various packages to choose from. Pick the one that best suits your needs and then hide the channels you don't want to see.
I don't need or want the sports channels, the shopping channels, right wing news channels or the Jesus channels. But rather than complain about them, I have removed them from the guide.

I would look into streaming where you can get a pay for the channels you watch. All you need is a streaming box like Roku or Fire TV and a good internet connection.
