Direct TV On Demand

Being a new subscriber to Direct TV I have a couple of complaints that I hope will change with AT&T taking over the company.  I used to be a Comcast customer, but their customer service pushed me over the edge.  Now on Direct TV I have noticed that their On Demand charges $3.99 for just about every movie.  Is this practise going to continue after AT&T takes over the helm?

It is way to soon to expect anything to change in either company as a result of this purchase.

If you want to talk about DIRECTV practices, I'd suggest you go to DIRECTV's forums:

I cannot get my Directv wireless adapter to connect to my att home wifi. I just had directv tech back here....after troubleshooting to even get it to see my wireless adapter, it then says security key is incorrect when it is not. They had no resolution. Very aggravating. All my other devices are connecting to the wifi with that key fine. Why the conflict with directv? I'm stuck with this cable option due to HOA. i cannot access on demand or any app features until I get this resolved. Can you help?

AT&T's John Stankey gave an interview to USA Today on Friday [July 24, 2015].

Nothing was touched on the topic this thread's OP is addressing. But, I think he gave some information for which we can anticipate and/or expect in looking toward this new enterprise.
