DirecTV cancelling Newsmax

I am a 12 year subscriber to DirecTV & have had AT&T cell service for 15 years. I am EXTREMELY disappointed that DirecTV is cancelling Newsmax—the last (Edited per community guidelines) news channel. If this is not resolved with Newsmax being restored I will be cancelling my subscriptions.

Why is Newsmax canceled from Direct tv?

This is a WOKE company Cancel and complain to the AT&T and Direct TV

They are involved in  censership 

Actions to Take Now

  1. DirecTV customers: Call toll free at 877-763-9762 to cancel/complain.
  2. AT&T customers: Call toll free at 888-855-2338 to cancel/complain for U-verse, cellular and wireless services.
  3. Call your congressman or senator at 202-224-3121 and demand they stop AT&T/DirecTV's censorship of NEWSMAX — ask them to give you a date on the hearings!
  4. Go to our online petition and get more info: iWantNewsmax.com.

I will be dropping AT&T if your communist company does not bring NEWSMAX and AON back to your lineup on Direct TV. You do not want me as a customer if you do not allow conservatives to also have a voice. You are no better that a communist business.

Why is AT&T dropping NewsMax channel. This is outright censorship of political speech and will not be tolerated. I am canceling all present and future business with AT&T.

We currently have Comcast which still has NewsMax and OAN. I would say everyone needs to switch over if AT&T doesn’t stop the censorship. We have AT&T as our phone carrier and we are going to switch to Pure Talk which is veteran owned. This is horrible!!

Nobody cares what you do or don't have.

This is not censorship. Their entertainment hosts are free to entertain any way they seem fit. The government isn't cracking down on them, hence it's not a constitution violation.

Anyone who wants to watch that entertainment (frankly, it's more like drivel) can do so for free via their website.

One of the definitions of censorship is: "Prevention of disturbing or painful thoughts or feelings from reaching consciousness except in a disguised form."

So yeah, are they being prevented?

Nice try, I guess.

Because AT&T decided to start with the censorship by removing Newsmax, we are going to switch to Pure Talk. I’m very disappointed

I have been an AT&T Internet subscriber for 10 years.  The loss of OANN and NEWSMAX from the DirecTV platform is an outrageous example of Censorship.  I do not want to support WOKE corporations Censoring speech.  I will disconnect my service prior to the next billing period unless AT&T immediately reinstates OANN and NEWSMAX on DirecTV.

ATT de platformed NEWSMAX . They never asked the customers if this was acceptable to them. If they had asked the question, they would have found that the majority of subscribers viewed NEWSMAX. 

I would like to ask ATT when they will bring newsman back to Uverse TV?
