ESPN College Extra

Channels 614 though 621 carried the service from ESPN called College Extra.  I noticed today that they are all gone.  I can't seem to find any explanation as to what happened to them.  They were available to higher level services including the sports package.  They haven't actively carried programming that frequently in the past and primarily are active during the college football season.  Maybe they will re-activate in the fall, but whatever the reason it would be nice to know why.

From programmingchanges.att.com "Effective in August, U-verse will no longer carry ESPN College Extra 1-8 (channels 614-621) previously included in U400, U450, U450L, and the Sports Package." I would hope that those games would still be on WatchESPN.com and the new ESPN app. A Chromecast or HDMI cable should get that to your TV.

ESPN has removed the feeds for ESPN College Extra 1-8 channels 614 – 621. It is off-season for College Extra and will return late August or early September.

Same as Masters Extra and other similar channels. They disappear and then re-appear as needed. In fact, I wonder if Masters Extra and the College Extra are the same channel numbers.
