Now, lets work on getting NHL Network back on. How bout it, AT&T?

Since NHL is carried on DirecTV, does that automatically mean we'll get that as well?

No. Based on the SiriusXM merger (two competing entertainment companies merge), it'll take years to consolidate lineups.

Look at the airline mergers. By the time they re-paint all the planes inside and out, put everything on the same ticketing system, get the new flight codes and flight-share information, etc...

These things take time.

Thank you very much for negotiating a deal with Hallmark Channel! Now my wife is happier & when she is happier, so am I. We had it in Duncan OK on Cableone. I figured it would be up here in Tulsa but wasn't on Uverse. Cox has it so my wife says I should have gone with them. Now she can't say that. I'm a former SBC DSL technician & wanted to go with AT&T.

Now we have both Hallmark Channels on the go.  That's great news!  However, there is a problem after I log onto uverse.com.  When I attempt to watch a "Live Show," a pop up message reads: "Please upgrade Chrome to watch this video."

My laptop has Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer 11.

I have upgraded Chrome, as requested, but still get the same, aforementioned, message when I try to watch.  Any reason why it is mandatory to have Chrome and not IE? .

Actually the press release stated they are getting ownership stake in MLB Network, NHL Network and a few others things in this merger, so I'd say the NHL Network might be back before October's hockey start.

And now having 25 Million US and 19 million Latin America TV users will give ATT alot more 'pull' in channel acquisition. Smiley Surprised

Will my TV channel lineup change?

No, we will not make changes to your TV channel lineup as a result of this acquisition.

It also got a 100% ownership stake in DirecTV.  But that doesn't mean we're all getting all of DirecTV's features, etc.

As was said earlier, change will be slow.  As carriage agreements come due, the negotiations will be more "interesting."  AT&T may decide to try to go after some new channels for U-verse, but don't expect anything instantly.

I wonder if this had something to do with the direct tv merger which should happen any time now?

I believe it did from Crown Media's end. That company, with its Hallmark channel brands, could not do without being on the AT&T U-verse/DirecTV lineups. I predicted that, should the FCC approve AT&T acquiring DirecTV, one of the following would happen: No more Hallmark channel brands on both AT&T U-verse and DirecTV (when they become one) … or … we would see a return of Hallmark channel brands on AT&T U-verse (as it and DirecTV become one). The notion of AT&T U-verse/DirecTV eclipsing Comcast to become the No. 1 provider of cable televison subscriptions, in the United States, and for Crown Media's Hallmark brands not to be made available to that level nationwide, did not seem to me like a move Crown Media could afford to make. It just so happened, a few short days before the FCC's approval [of AT&T/DirecTV], Crown Media and AT&T reached new carriage terms. Yes, indeed, I believe the AT&T/DirecTV situation is what did it for those AT&T U-verse subscribers who were longing for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries (formerly Hallmark Movie Channel) to return to AT&T U-verse after almost five years of absence. (Good!)

Hooray!... Thank you ! Thank you! Thank you! Hallmark and Uverse for working out your differences and returning the Hallmark Channels to Uverse after such a long hiatus. The consumers have been the victims in this battle and I am so grateful to have one of our favorite channels back. Wholesome TV is a rare commodity in today's media marketplace and The Hallmark Channels are purveyors of the kind of viewing so many Uverse customers have missed. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

To be honest, the customers are always the victims. We'll never know what finally caused them to reach a deal, although the guesses are plentiful.

It's interesting to see what qualifies for various opinions of wholesome entertainment. What I saw on there a few nights ago, you'd also find better "wholesome" entertainment on some of the animated Disney shows or some of the Discovery Family shows.

Hello, I'm trying to make sense as to why both the Hallmark channels 365 & 366 are offered on Ufamily but only 365 is offered on U200.  Thanks

That's been my complaint here since we got the channels. You either have to downgrade to UFamily or grade to U300 or higher which totally unfair and absurd.
