HDMI error
My TV was working fine this morning. Now it shows the error HDMI error. Unable to display video. (H1001 - HDCP not supported on this display)
I have swapped the HDMI cable between the Uverse receiver and the TV, swapped HDMI ports on the TV, and rebooted the gateway and the receiver numerous times with no resolution. Please help!!

Have you tried a different AT&T receiver on the TV?
You may also want to look into a non-destructive disaster recovery... I'm sure @skeeterintexas can walk you through it.
The other idea is to use component cables instead of HDMI. Component was recommended for a long time due to...some sort of "handshake" reason...I forget.

I'm not sure a reboot will fix this problem but I suppose it's worth a shot. Just unplug the power cord from the back of the box. Wait 20 secs. and return the power cord.
A Whole House Reboot (must be done in this order):
Pull power cord from DVR and all receivers
Pull power from gateway next. Wait 20 secs. Return power to gateway. Wait for all lights to come on.
Plug DVR in next. Wait for it to become functional
Plug STBs in lastly. Wait for each to become functional.
Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.
