How can I find when a program will be on if it is more than 2 weeks away

Hi,

The u-verse guide both on the tv and the internet only goes out 2 weeks. Does anybody know another place on the net I can look to find out when it will be on. By the way, the channel it is to air on web site wasn't much better. If you do please post the URL.

Thanks

No, schedules can change too far out like that and cause problems.  Uverse schedules actually go upto 7p on the 13th day, not 2 weeks ahead.

Sometimes you'll find programs in Search and it's past that cutoff time.  Then it tells you to manually schedule the program.  😉

When I had Directv and Brigthhouse cable their guides only showed programming for two weeks. Must be a provider thing.

Keep in mind that the guide info all comes from third parties which supply the providers with the info. Companies like Zap2It, TVGuide and TitanTV are the ones ultimately responsible for creating the guides.

@baseballisback    Ours is FYI TV, if it was Titan TV we would not get the errors we get now. Smiley Frustrated

I had mentioned Titan because I had seen it mentioned here (and elsewhere) before.

You still understood the point though. Smiley Happy

If it's not a local program, The Futon Critic tends to have the most up-to-date listings; if it's not there, then chances are that the station has not announced the schedule that far in advance anywhere yet.

Hi @Bozo132 - two weeks +/- is about the max norm, anywhere.  They can't project out much more then that.

If you are looking for individual show(s), often the show's episode Wikipedia page lists anticipated future air dates for future episodes.

Hello all. Thanks to those of you who offered suggestions.

The show I am looking for was on SyFi, it was a 3 part mini-series they ran in December called "Childhood's End". I wanted to recommend it to some freinds and family. It is available online (at SyFi) but many people don't like to watch on their computers for a variety of reasons. Neither SyFi nor AT&T have listed a future viewing date in their guides. SyFi really suprised me with this. Usually when a tv station creates a mini-series they try to milk it for all they can running it repeatedly.

I tried emailing SyFi. Their responses have been pretty useless.

So, once again if anybody has any ideas where I can find this please feel free to respond.

Thanks!

@Bozo132  Well. if their computer has an HDMI output, can plug it into the HD TV and get the computer screen in HD playing the online show. Smiley Surprised

Have you looked at the search results, today @Bozo132?  I see them listed on 192 NBCUNV.  Will they be in English?  Look at 1/18 and 1/19.

It is on Amazon Instant video.  $9.99 for the "series."  I want to say that TitanTV has a search that they will continually check and email when a result hits.
