How do I change my screensaver options?

I was told I could change the settings for the auto-screensaver so it is longer than 8 hours, however, I cannot figure out how. Please advise

You were told wrong.  You have no control over the screen savers nor when they kick in.

Further evidence of the low quality programming that is contained within the U-Verse receiver.  Included with the not being able to turn off the screen-saver is the start up process that is also a joke.  Turn on the receiver and it displays "Press OK to watch TV".  Once you press OK you get the message to "Press OK to see recordings".  I just pressed OK to watch TV now I have to actually press "Exit" to get it to go to live TV.  Who are these low intelligence individuals (I originally said id10ts but their snowflake system rejected my crude language).  Do you wonder why I'm switching providers?  This screensaver problem has been in the forums since at least 2014 and yet still no fix.  Thanks for listening to your customers AT&T.

@nomoreatant  If you are having that many issues to just turn on your TV, something is out of sync.

If your remote, TV and box are in sync, one press of the Power button should turn on your TV and your STB with NO screensaver showing.

Which remote do you have (number on back)?

I have a Solution that involves the Uverse App and a Android Smart Phone. You have to put the Uverse App in remote mode. You also need a Macro recording app installed on your phone. You will have to record a macro in the recording app of you pressing the OK button in the app and then run the macro program. it will keep pressing the OK button for you and the screensaver will never activate.

how can att not have this feature when every crappy media streamer appliance or DVR even has it. Boy it never ceases to amaze me how terrible att is. Then if you have a problem you have to call that crappy automated attendant. This is definitely a company that I’d love to go away like the MCIs of the world. Any !diot that designed this uverse system needs to be fired and forced to pick up trash off the streets.

Uverse should hire some dish developers. They know how to make it user friendly. Oh how I miss you my dish
