Is there a way to move the closed captioning lower on the screen?
I looked at all of the options on the menu tab and changed my font (lol) but couldn't move them down so they're not blocking the picture. I can make the font blue, yet I don't have the option to move the captioning.
Am I missing something or do yall truly not have a way to fix this?

You do realize this is an AT&T UVERSE forum, right????
Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

Subtitle conventions aren't followed by AT&T Uverse. #wontfix
They should be 34 pixels high just above the 90% title safe-line.

"The normally accepted position for subtitles is towards the bottom of the screen (Teletext lines 20 and 22"

The type of tv will have no affect on u-verse captions. They are set by the set top box before they reach tv. At&t and many other providers do a terrible job providing closed captions, they do the bare minimum or less to meet legal requirements. Deaf and hard of hearing people often have to report them to get anything fixed. Many providers still don't even have any captions for 100% of content. But if laws don't have real penalties and aren't enforced companies ignore them.

AT&T doesn't care. I've had numerous cable services and Netflix and Prime TV all of them put the closed captions at the bottom of the screen including DirecTV which AT&T owns. Sadly where I live now only the only available cable "service" is AT&T. It seems like an easy fix, if AT&T doesn't know how to do it they should ask any other network.

The ability to move closed captioning lower on the screen typically depends on the device or software you are using to view the content. In many cases, you can adjust closed caption settings, including position, through the accessibility or display settings of the device or application you are using. Please refer to the specific settings or options in your device or software to customize the position of closed captioning.
