Keep News 9 / News on 6 / CBS (Oklahoma)

One of the things that makes me and my family stay with Uverse TV is Our local Channels!
I rely on News 9 in bad weather! They have the best local coverage for Oklahoma

Take it up with your local station as well.

I am very upset that you chose not to renew with CBS.  I watch them the most out of the local news stations, not including all of the awesome programming that they offer.

Please credit my bill if you aren't going to put them back into your listing.

Respectfully,

After the 24 hour loss of TV, internet and phone last month, you are in no position to anger subscribers. You are not the only service in town. HDH (a long tijme suscriber)

I have written and called so many times, but yet no CBS.  Then since I couldn't watch my news, I went to watch a program I recorded last night at 7 and you cut it off at 7:46, so no ending.  I have just had it. I think you all had better get your act together, because if it doesn't back quickly, I am leaving and I have all your services and was even a Southwester Bell customer before Att took over.   PLEASE FIX THIS, PLEASE

It is not AT&T that removed them, there are two sides to every story: www.att.com/fighting4you

Hello @astrohorn,

Contract disputes happen all the time, it is just the way the world works. It is very possible that your next provider may not have the same channel.

Please contact AT&T support at the below link to cancel your services.

Choose your appropriate service, and either call or open up the Live Chat.

Hope this helps.

No..your local station's owner removed it from AT&T's lineup. Contact them if you want it back. www.att.com/fighting4you

I agree with LOdquist.  I had Cox before and I can go back to them.  This situation is totally ridiculous...will my bill decrease if I no longer have CBS?  I strongly doubt that.  If they are negotiating now, they should be  able to put the programs on during negotiations.  Right now, I have no CBS.  Does that mean it is a "done deal"?

If not on tonight, I'm calling Cox in the morning.

Hi @ckwill - you might want to ask Cox and or Griffin Communication when their contract to carry them expire.  Chances are Griffin will try to get more $ out of Cox, as well. Good luck and sorry that this happened.

I am an AT & T customer.  If we do not get News on 6 and all the CBS shows back on TV I will be changing to Cable One for my internet service. How could you do such a horrendous thing?  I watch CBS almost every night!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to address ATT, we watch channel 9 exclusively for local news and weather. We enjoy them better than ATT, where our bill continues to climb. You want a better deal and so do we. This confirms our desire to switch carriers.

I am paying AT&T $250 a month for a bundle that includes cable.  If that isn't enough for you to settle your issues with KOTV, Channel 6, in Tulsa, OK, I guess I will have to find another provider.  I am checking with Cox to see what they can do for me.  I intend to bill AT&T for the programming I am losing.  Get your heads out of it!

For every channel in your AT&T lineup, AT&T have an agreement that allows them to deliver that programming to you. These agreements expire every few years. So they are continuously working to negotiate new contracts. They begin working with the TV network well in advance to put a new deal in place before the contract expires.

We are not allowed to comment on contract negotiations that may be underway. However, AT&T is committed to providing customers the channels they want at a fair price.
