Large vertical colored bars when watching TV

OK here we go again. Fox News is not on Uverse again. No other channel has these problems. Newsmax and OAN got dropped recently over "business decision". ATT need to fix these "technical difficulties" or start losing subscribers.!

There is no such thing as coincidences.

You can't blame AT&T if it's an issue upstream.

If it was a carriage contract issue, there'd be a blue screen with a message and other Fox-owned channels (such as Fox Business and FS1) would also have that same message.

The message would also appear overnight and not at a random time during the day.

Fox News is just one of MANY channels missing this morning.

TNT, TBS, Discovery, FX, Comedy, TV1, TRU, JC, GSN, Freeform, CNN, Weather, TLC, Animal Planet, Science, AHC, ID, Nat, DAM, VH1.

Let's take off our tinfoil hats and try to find an answer, right @baseballisback ?

How about we trade in the jokes and just offer up some honest-to-goodness communication from AT&T, huh? What the heck is going on, and how long will we have to wait for a resolution?

Seriously, there are MULTIPLE channels showing a black screen (a test pattern would at least be some type of communication, no?), and y'all are just posting the same (stupid) replies to the multiple posts here and it is not helping.

@Constructive - if it is truly "technical difficulties", is it so hard to let subscribers know that, instead of letting us go crazy with conspiracy theories?  A little communication goes a long way.

Okay, I get it - the 'conspiracy theories' comment was over the top. My bad.  FWIW, I don't give a (Edited per community guidelines) about Fox/Faux News. Wifey is upset about missing TCM channel and the many others that are (or were this morning) not showing up. All we see is a black screen, nothing more.

@skeeterintexas - a test pattern would be better communication than the blank screens we are seeing.

To help regulate P O O P I understand fiber improves the condition.

more fiber. You've probably heard it before. But do you know why fiber is so good for your health?

Dietary fiber — found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes — is probably best known for its ability to prevent or relieve constipation. But foods containing fiber can provide other health benefits as well, such as helping to maintain a healthy weight and lowering your risk of diabetes, heart disease and some types of cancer.

You've removed (Edited per community guidelines) channels and this is not acceptable.  My mother who is 91 years old listens to Fox all day.  It just happens to be a glitch? In the atmosphere today do you really think you LOYAL customers believe that.  Fix it or this will be the last straw.

Looking at the numerous posts asking for information, it seems some people are actually "checking for posts that might offer an explanation." The problem is two-fold: (1) there is no "sticky" message that prominently displays any relevant information, and (2) the same stupid replies y'all give on every single post makes it extremely difficult to get to the heart of the matter.

And @baseballisback , your first reply to this message is confusing! First off, who (in this thread) are you referring to?  "Faux Spews?" "forum etiquette?" Perhaps you meant to reply to a different message.
