I agree. I am tired of being bullied by at&t, sbc or whatever name they choose to use. We have been on basic local programming, paying about $20 a month for them. Now Cleveland channel 19 (CBS station) has been dropped. This is terrible service. Access to DECENT or GOOD customer service does not exist! I called. I was very polite and do not blame the representative because the set up does not allow them to do more than answer questions or see our bill and service. AT&T ,SBC, UVerse/Direct Tv are tyrants and grand at making it impossible to escape their web of deception and false customer service. I want to only keep internet!!! It should not be this difficult. I am filing a complaint with FCC and BBB! Mr. Alexander Graham Bell and his associates over the decades are probably turning over in their graves at this disservice to their legacies!!!! I am not afraid of these tyrants nor ashamed to claim my disgust: Thomas and Deborah

Raycom Media Stations are no longer available on AT&T U-Verse. This inconvenience to viewers is part of a broader business strategy to convert AT&T U-Verse customers to DirecTV, because a DirecTV subscription is more profitable. In fact, prior to merging with DirecTV, AT&T U-Verse had zero disruptions due to retransmission consent negotiations. The ongoing blackout of Raycom Media is AT&T U-Verse’s 5th service takedown since the merger.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
You can help keep/restore your programming by sending a message to AT&T – and if they won’t listen, consider switching to a provider that cares for our community. Go to www.cablemover.com or www.allconnect.com or www.cabledealfinder.com to find local providers in your area. And remember, you can always receive our station free over-the-air.

And AT&T states that the reason for this is:
Believe who you want to believe, but it sure seems to me that Raycom is empowered to give you your station within minutes while AT&T has to have Raycom's approval to do so. So, who's preventing you from seeing your programs?

I am extremely upset that I have lost my NBC channel on my AT&T U Verse. Most of my favorite shows are on that channel. If this is not resolved soon I am going to another service. You will lose customers big time!

That is not what the network is putting out on Facebook, they are reporting that it is a move on your part to force customers to switch to Direct TV since it is less expensive to operate!
Our family is not happy with this at all!

As I said, you believe who you want to believe, but realize: (1) who has control (Raycom), (2) who went public first (Raycom), and (3) who can end this the quickest (Raycom).
BTW, I am not, nor do I work for, AT&T so I am not making any moves.

Are you kidding me? So two corporate giants are punishing the customers so they can squeeze as much money out of each other as possible. Your "solved" answer is not an answer. When will the stations return?

I woke up this morning and my favorite News channel was gone. I watch that channel every morning and there are a lot of shows on that channel as well. I have already dropped all but local channels but on the way home from work today I am going to buy a HDTV Antenna and try it out. If it picks up the all the local channels then I am dropping UVerse all together. I really hate it because I like the service.
