Why should I have to lose the channels that I'm paying for service we need to get this worked out so that we can go back to watching and just some of the program that we were watching

This has been going on for over 2 weeks now and I have not been able to watch one ncaa game or my favorite tbs shows. We pay a good amount of money so make a deal, my friends all have buckeye and they got this problem resolved in 24 hours or less and gave them a credit for the inconvenience. I suggest that it's not a ray come issue but a at&t issue and I WILL BE SWITCHING CARRIERS!

I would like to know when CBS is going to be back on the air . If you're not going to carry these channels there's no sense of me having cable with y'all

You can tweet AT&T too.

@ATTCares

See if they really care.

I'm so fed up with U-verse and Raycom in Louisville, Ky for blaming each other blacking out our local channel Wave-3. It all comes down to money and neither one cares about the their customers! But yet U-verse still charges you for the channel! I tried getting Directv, but can't because of the neighbors trees being too tall! So if you don't care about your customers, I will be forced to leave U-verse, which you don't care anyway!

Has AT&T considered other television providers besides Raycom?  In our Northeast Ohio market there is another CBS affiliate besides WOIO from Cleveland.  Have you considered working with the Youngstown CBS affiliate WKBN which is owned by Nexstar Media Group?  If Raycom cannot come to sensible terms, please look for alternatives.

You could purchase an over the air antenna and get local channels for free. Indoor antennas can sometimes get you all the local channels.

why are some att customers receiving a one time $10 credit for the loss of local CBS channel, Raycom, and some receiving as much as $100 per month for a year for the same thing?  Are there any records of these credit discrepancies?

Ah, if only.  Unless the OTA broadcasts from both stations cover the zip code, it would be extremely difficult to convince the FCC to allow this.

$10.00 a month adjustment....really? We have been without our choice of local news but more importantly we are missing NCAA basketball games. U-verse you are a JOKE.....exploring other options and no you will not bully us into Direct TV.

Since your talking about a company that took over 5 years to reach a deal with Halmark leaving might not be a bad idea. Call the providers in your area and see what they have to offer. You might be pleasantly surprised. What have you got to lose?

I know of no one receiving any more than a one time bill credit of $10.00 (which is probably generous, assuming that the outage lasts less than a month).  However, others may be taking the opportunity to enter in to a term agreement with a promotional discount.
