Possible Fraud Fake Email Concerning Remote Control Skins

I recevied an email tonight supposidly from AT&T U-Verse concerning getting a free remote with the skin of my choice. I tried signing in, and it would not let me do so. I thought maybe I was putting in the wrong password. I asked that my password be emailed to me, but it was never sent as requested.

 

I looked at my email address at the top again, and saw that it had an extra letter. It was obviously a fishing email. I promptly changed my password. Did anyone else get this email? I deleted the email so I cannot post it here.

For the record, it was legit and I had a "Chicago Cubs" skin sent to me.  No cost.........free.

What it did was convince me I would never buy a skin from this company again.  Very cheaply made and I think it will probably start peeling off any day.  And, the "Cubs" reference is very small at the bottom of the skin.

I ordered the free skin, and loved it.  Now, I had to replace my remote control, and really miss my skin on it, and cannot remember the company I got it through.
