Programming Changes for April 2018
AT&T U-verse Programming Changes
AT&T's agreements with programmers expire from time to time. We are usually able to obtain renewals or extensions of such agreements, but in rare cases we may be required to cease carriage of channels. For more information on upcoming expirations or other programming changes see below or visit att.com/fightingforyou. Below we list the prior three notices that also appeared in USA Today.
Notice Appearing in USA Today on April 17, 2018
AT&T's contracts with programmers for the content displayed on U-verse TV service periodically expire, or may be terminated, but are usually re-negotiated or extended with no interruption or change for our U-verse members. Additionally, from time to time it is necessary to change channel line-ups as well as television package contents. The programming changes set forth below may occur as follows:
April 2018:
As previously noticed, AT&T's contract with the programmer for the following channels is set to expire. While these channels will continue to be available to U-verse members so long as AT&T has the rights to carry them, if a reasonable agreement cannot be reached with the programmer the programming will no longer be available. AT&T may modify the channel location for the programming by moving them from their current channel location to a channel between 9501 – 9599, and if a reasonable longer term agreement cannot be reached with the programmers, we may lose the rights to carry them (listed in alphabetical order) in or after April 2018: NFL Network (channel 630 and 1630 in HD); NFL RedZone (channel 1629 in HD).
As well as the following local channel: 1) In Alabama, in the Montgomery-Selma area, WCOV – FOX (channel 20 and 1020 in HD)

They're already complaining over the loss of iHeart, although that may be a glitch since the app isn't supposed to go away until a few more weeks.

I was one of those that was upset over losing the I Heart app, but it is what it is, lol. Not going to cancel service over losing an app that's for sure, lol.

I liked the iHeart Radio better than most of the other music services rolled out over the years, I can't say that I used it enough to miss it.

I haven't had UVerse long enough to know what apps there were/are so losing an app doesn't really phase me right now. I have Spotify so I can stream it through my Alexa's in any room in the house.

I Heart sells a stand alone app that most smart tv's and streaming boxes have and it works like Pandora. There is a fee but I think they have a free version. You might want to check it out. Myself I do not like I Heart and use Pandora instead, You might check out Pandora and see if it is something you like.
