Notice Appearing in USA Today on July 18, 2017
June 2017:
Effective June 15, Syfy (channels 151, 152 and 1151, 1152 in HD) rebranded to SYFY.

July 2017:
As previously noticed, AT&T's contract with the programmer for the following channels is set to expire. While these channels will continue to be available to U-verse members so long as AT&T has the rights to carry them, if a reasonable agreement cannot be reached with the programmer the programming will no longer be available. AT&T may modify the channel location for the programming by moving them from their current channel location to a channel between 9501 – 9599, and if a reasonable longer term agreement cannot be reached with the programmers, we may lose the rights to carry them (listed in alphabetical order) in or after July 2017: Family Entertainment TV (channel 578).
As well as the following local channels: 1) In Florida, in the Orlando area, WTMO (channel 31 and 1031 in HD); 2) In Texas, in the El Paso area, KTDO (channel 48 and 1048 in HD).
Effective immediately, ESPN Buzzer Beater (channel 613 and 1613 in HD) is removed by the Programmer; Effective July 14, Universal HD (channel 1105 in HD) was removed by the Programmer; Effective July 14, Root Sports (channel 758 and 1758 in HD) was renamed to AT&T SportsNet.

August 2017:

September 2017:
AT&T's contract with the programmer for the following channels is set to expire. While these channels will continue to be available to U-verse members so long as AT&T has the rights to carry them, if a reasonable agreement cannot be reached with the programmer the programming will no longer be available. AT&T may modify the channel location for the programming by moving them from their current channel location to a channel between 9501 – 9599, and if a reasonable longer term agreement cannot be reached with the programmers, we may lose the rights to carry them (listed in alphabetical order) in or after September 2017: MGM HD (channel 1116 in HD).
As well as the following local channels: 1) In Indiana, in the Indianapolis area, WALV (channel 50) and WTHR (channel 13 and 1013 in HD); 2) In Ohio, in the Columbus area, WBNS (channel 10 and 1010 in HD).
Effective September 9, Sprout (channel 337 and 1337 in HD) will rebrand to Universal Kids; Effective around September 25, Centric (channel 515) will rebrand to BET Her.

Will sprout I.e. Universal kids be going away or just re-branding? It is listed in the channels going away.

It looks like it is Sprout during the day and Universal Kids in the evenings and overnignt, similar to Noggin/The N was and how Teen Nick/The Splat is now.
