Did the app ask you to sign in? If it did, make sure you enter the correct member ID.

It does not ask me to sign in. After I put in the activation code, and choose u-verse as my provider it takes me to a white page that says "please wait." Then I am returned to the Showtime Anytime site with a message that says" It appears that your AT& T Subscription does not include Showtime." It directs me to the u-verse 800 number if I believe I have received this message in error. I spoke to them two weeks ago. They were no help.

I have a Sony Bravia TV with both the Showtime app and the Showtime Anytime app. I DO NOT have a Google account. This is the only email and password it asks me to enter is my Google. Is there any way around this? I have tried putting in my Yahoo email and password and that does not let me sign in. Can someone please answer this question? I have called DirecTV, Showtime and Sony.

There has been problems with the Google play store not updating Android TV apps properly. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Showtime app.
