Hi @shewjr - we discussed this earlier, this week. Stingray is the new name given to Music Choice (rebranding). It sounds like nothing is changing, thankfully! I fought like heck to get MC, years ago!

Stingray owns Music Choice and Galaxie. Actually say I like Stingray's choice in Jazz and country, more choices than Music Choice.
Thought Music Choice would be going bye-bye, but I guess not as they are still there in the 5100s. 😉

You are completely correct ShewJr. Not sure where the ACE Expert/Masters got their information. Stingray does not own Music Choice (US). They own the brand Music Choice outside of the US.
As stated in this article - The Globe and Mail.
Stingray has also had its eyes on larger U.S. rival Music Choice, owned by a consortium of cable, music and technology companies, and tried unsuccessfully to buy it last year. Now, it is instead picking off some of its accounts, including AT&T, said Stingray chairman François-Charles Sirois. “I think we’re in a very good position to just grow and not have to worry about buying them,” Mr. Sirois said.

If 5100 was in HD, all the better. Right now,
1501 is the HD feed which I'm not a fan of... MCPlayHD should be available beside the music choice stuff.

I got confused because Stingray purchased Music Choice International (a UK/European company) . This is not the same as the US-based Music Choice (how ever would one make that mistake) as you said.
I don't use the music service very much. It was better than Urge, but not by a lot.

Hi @marylou.d glad that they have the channels that you like. You are the THIRD person to actually like Stingray. 😉

Broadway channel for two days and have yet to hear one song that includes
references to urine or Aids, has a lot of wonderful classics by the
original casts and singers and seems to include material back to the Al
Jolsen days as well as the Golden Age of musicals. The information on the
screen includes the name of the show, the song, the performer or conductor,
and the year.

@aandtt Thus forum is really a subscriber to subscriber forum, with now very limited AT&T involvement. To actually direct your angst to AT&T managers, I would recommend that you send a private message to the escalation team at AT&T Customer Care, and someone will get in touch with you. I'm not sure what you mean by aandtt internet, I'm assuming that you mean AT&T U-Verse internet?

Stingray Music does require an Internet connection to function. I cannot picture a network arrangement that would allow that Internet connection to be anything other than AT&T's.
